i would also say LA… but maybe you should check out this site and click on extras and then click on “tickets and attractions” and it would show places that you might want to go to and if that doesn’t work maybe you should do some research online and you might be able to find some good places to go to.

san diego - largest zoo in us 3 years ago largest aquarium ( seaworld) great beaches, rated the 5th most beautiful city of us in 2006

Road trip….depends from where. I am a Los Angeles resident and have been all over the state but I would say hitting Southern California would be great since there are several key cities close together….Santa Barbara to LA down to San Diego. All within a couple of hours from each other. Santa Barbara has Solvang close too. Los Angeles has Santa Monica beach, Hollywood, and numerous amusement parks. And then down to San Diego for more amusement parks and even a quick trip to Tijuana if you can.

I would choose San Diego. It has great weather, it’s beautiful, clean, and relatively crime free. Plus, there are lots of things to do in San Diego.
Some suggestions: kayaking, hiking, biking, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal park, wine tasting, theater, Padres, Chargers, music, surfing, fishing, golfing, beach volleyball, hang gliding, wind surfing, shopping, beach bonfires, Lego Land, and so much more.
