What is there to do on a Carnival Cruise

Hey I’m just about to go on my first cruise. wondering what there is to do for an 18 year old. Apparently we can’t legally drink, and the “02″ club is under 17. i know I’ll be lounging in the sun like a slug for most of the time on the boat, but when I’m not, what activities are best for fun and meeting others my age?

What is the best way to get CHEAP airline and hotel tickets(especially to New York)?
